Open Qualifiers announced — register your team for a shot at Season 1

The NZCSPL Open Qualifiers are officially LIVE for registration.

This is your shot. One day. Eight teams. Four spots in Season 1 of New Zealand's premier Counter-Strike 2 league.

THE DETAILS • Format: One Day Competition, single-elimination best-of-three • Prize Pool: $1,000 NZD • Top 4 teams qualify directly into Season 1 • Qualifier #1: Sunday, 6 September 2026 • Roster: 5 starters + up to 3 optional substitutes + optional coach

REQUIREMENTS Every player on your roster must have a Faceit account verified with Steam. Rosters lock at check-in — get your five (and your subs) sorted early. Captains are responsible for making sure the whole team has read the NZCSPL Rulebook and agrees to the NZ Esports Code of Conduct.

HOW TO REGISTER Head to the Register page, fill out the team form, and submit. You'll get a confirmation once your registration is received. Spots are limited and we expect the bracket to fill fast — don't leave it to the last minute.

Season 1 kicks off Sunday 7 February 2027 at 9:00 PM NZT. Ten teams. Ten rounds. Playoffs. One trophy. Make sure you're in it.
